Requests for personal research
Over the past decades, the "Research and Documentation" department has compiled a wealth of information on former Prisoners of War and concentration camp prisoners as well as Displaced Persons. We also have information on perpetrators and liberators.
Survivors and relatives can receive information about the available information on request. If possible, please include the full names and dates of birth of the persons you are looking for and let us know if you have already researched elsewhere. This will help us to process your enquiry quickly.
Enquiries can also be made in the context of scientific and educational projects. Enquiries from pupils and students are also welcome.
Please bear in mind that only a fraction of the names are known and we therefore do not always have the requested information. Due to the large number of enquiries, it may take some time to respond.
