Sarah Friedek

Tasks

Sarah Friedek is the contact person for professional group-specific programmes. She develops one-day and multi-day formats with occupational group-specific approaches, in particular for groups from the armed forces, police and justice system. She is also responsible for educational programmes and the development of a didactic concept for the learning place M.B. 89 in the neighbouring Lower Saxony barracks, which is currently under construction.

Sarah Friedek studied history and social studies at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena to become a secondary school teacher. During her studies, she worked as a freelancer at the Mittelbau-Dora Concentration Camp Memorial and the Buchenwald Memorial. There she supervised young people and adults on guided tours, day projects and events lasting several days. She was also involved in the pilot project of the Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation, which was organised in cooperation with the Meiningen Police College.
