Tasks
Raimund Lazar is a social scientist and has been working as a research assistant in the Education and Encounters department since 2020. His work at the memorial centre began with the research project "Who against whom? Violence, exclusion and the stereotype 'Jew' in football", in which he investigated, among other things, preventative measures against anti-Semitism in football in Lower Saxony. He is currently responsible for the conception and implementation of educational programmes on the subject of anti-Semitism and discrimination in sport. Both historical and contemporary forms of anti-Semitism and discrimination in sport are analysed in various educational formats. The educational programme is aimed at the diverse target groups in sport and all interested parties beyond.
